Rachel Linsmeier

Rachel Linsmeier shares the joy and power of making music with elementary school children in Madison, Wisconsin. She holds a master's and bachelor's degree in music education from Michigan State University, where she met Dr. Sandra Snow and sang with the Women's Chamber Ensemble, as well as playing trumpet in the Wind Symphony, and becoming only the second woman to earn the role of Drum Major in the history of the Spartan Marching Band. Rachel's teaching experience is wide and varied, from early childhood music instruction to middle and high school band directing and everything in between. She is thrilled to be a mirasister. Performing progressive music alongside these incredible women and musicians is a true gift and honor.
