Sarah Price

Sarah Price is currently the director of choirs at Saline High School in Saline, MI. She directs six curricular and extra-curricular vocal ensembles that have performed at Carnegie Hall, Hill Auditorium, Chicago Symphony Center, and the Michigan Youth Arts Festival during her 4-year tenure. She also teaches guitar, music theory, arranging, and recently co-authored a chapter in Musicianship: Composing in Choir (GIA 2016) describing some of her work in these secondary general courses. Sarah also maintains a private voice studio in her Ann Arbor home.

Sarah first sang with Dr. Sandra Snow in Women’s Chamber Ensemble while getting her Bachelor’s of Music Education from Michigan State University (2009). Sarah is currently working on her Master’s of Choral Conducting at MSU in the summer program. She is an active vocalist throughout Michigan, and sings regularly with her jazz trio in the metro Detroit area. She first showcased her own original music on her record, SarahTonin, blending soul and pop with healing touches of rock, jazz, and classical styles. You can also hear her perform with Echoes of Pink Floyd at major theaters around Michigan.
